Prayer of Confession: God of grace and mercy, forgive us for being a stubborn and disobedient people.  Forgive us for not submitting our lives to your word.  Forgive us for living our own way, rather than seeking your will.  Let your grace wash over us now in this moment.  Cleanse us of all unrighteousness, smooth out the rough spots an mold us into the person you long for us to be.  Let our lives mirror your truth and reflect your glory, in Christ's name we pray,  Amen.

Assurance of Pardon: But God, being rich in mercy, has made us alive together in Christ.  By grace you have been saved!  This is not our own doing; it is the gift of God.  Thanks be to God!
